AET Week 3 Exploration

I picked Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It is a fun movie with good action and lots of humor. The color palette for this poster is monochromatic red with a splash of green.

The primary colors of this palette are in sync with the comic book feel of the movie. The use of all three primary colors is Triadic. The use of blue jeans and green shirt give the subject a stark contrast with the shades of red background. This contrast makes the subject pop in the center of the image.

The strong primary colors also create the mood of a very action charged movie with a silly side, similar to the circus, which also traditionally uses contrasting primary colors.

"Bauble"

Visceral Design

This one struck a cord with me. The image is dark and the more you look at it the more disturbing it is. The reference to the holidays with the ornament makes it hit home.

Behavioral Design

This on might not be practical but it does drive at the easy of use, innovation, and gives a must have quality. It looks like fun and makes me feel like if I have it i can get where i need to go faster.

"Mira Girl"

Reflective Design

This one is playing to the sentimental and personal level. The rational of wanting every one to connect at some level with another makes this work. It also touches on a long term benefit of two lives being improved by the connection.
